About Me

Hello, welcome to Skype English! My name is Teacher Roda and I’m from the Philippines. I know that you’re here because you want to learn or  improve your English. And I’m here to improve your confidence with English. I teach learners of all ages. Teaching online didn’t only give me the opportunity to teach but it made me interact with people from different cultures and helping them learn English. Because I believe that learning English is one of the languages that help people connect to the world. 

As your teacher, I will do my best to make sure that you understand English. I know the nature of learning a language, it takes many mistakes to reach fluency. So don’t be afraid to make mistakes, that’s why I’m here to help you be better at speaking English. 

I want the students to learn comfortably and without pressure. That’s why I make the lessons fun, interesting, simpler, and easier to understand. Building a strong connection to the students is one of the keys to keep the lesson interesting to them. I am very patient, kind and understanding. And I’ll make sure that you’re not only learning English but you’re also having fun and great time with me. I can’t wait to see you in my class.
